  • Jury verdict in the amount of $523,000 including attorneys fees for copyright infringement by Freddy Records on behalf of Maria Ramirez and Tony Guerrero
  • Judgment in favor of Tempest Publishing, Inc. the amount of $60,000 against Freddy Martinez, Sr. after unsuccessful prosecution by Martinez in copyright infringement action
  • Judgment in favor of Antonio Guerrero the amount of $40,000 against Freddy Martinez, Sr. after unsuccessful prosecution by Martinez in copyright infringement action
  • Settlement for Archie Bell (of the hit song Tighten Up) in connection with fraud and failure to account claims related to his rights as a performer.
  • Copyright Infringement suit against ZZ Top:  $600,000 settlement
  • Settlement of Chantilly Lace recording of The “Big Bopper” for Royalty Underpayment suit against PolyGram (now Universal Music):  $300,000
  • Federal Jury Verdict: Daily, et al.  v. Gusto Records, et al., for Royalty Underpayment and Fraud:   $1,800,000
  • Federal Jury Verdict: Brown, et al.  v. Ames, et al., for Infringement and Misappropriation: $225,000 on behalf of twelve Houston area blues legends who had songs and recordings taken and wrongfully exploited by Ames and others
  • Settlement: Szabo v. Landry’s Seafood Restaurants, Inc., for Copyright Infringement: Confidential Settlement
  • Federal Jury Verdict: King  v. Ames, et al., for Copyright Infringement and Misappropriation: $287,500 on behalf of the late Freddie King Estate arising musical compositions and master recordings taken and/or wrongfully exploited by Ames and others
  • Settlements and judgments for infringement, royalty under-payment, breach of contract and fraud:   $5,500,000+
